Brain-based parenting

A practical guide to understanding your child’s behaviour by knowing what is going on in their brain.

I spent my life trying to understand the most complex thing in the known universe, the human brain, and parenting is still the most difficult thing I have ever done. But when I started to use my understanding of the brain, to decode my children’s behaviour, everything suddenly clicked.

Here, I give you the latest evidence from neuroscience and child development to help you better understand your kids, communicate more effectively and be the parent you always wanted to be.

I have PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Cambridge, and have spent two decades studying the human brain at some of the most prestigious universities in the world, including six years at the University of Oxford. I have over 70 peer-reviewed academic papers top medical and neuroscience journals.
